Summer Phonics and Reading
In this summer class, students will get the opportunity to review first grade phonics skills as they prepare for second grade. Students will practice reading and writing as they review spelling patterns.

In this summer review class, students will continue to practice and master their first grade phonics skills in preparation for second grade. Students will review a phonics skill each week, and practice using that skill as they spell, write, and read short sentences and paragraphs. I use interactive games and practice pages to review the skills learned. I am a kind and patient teacher and make sure to reach each student at their level! Hello parents and learners! My name is Rebekah Ciolli. I am from Indiana where I live with my husband and three children. I am a certified elementary education teacher. I taught kindergarten for four years and first grade for three years. I currently stay home with my own children while teaching online. It has been a wonderful experience teaching online to students across the world. I am thrilled that I am able to share my love of teaching while raising my own kids.
In the classroom, I love teaching reading and math in small groups. Magic happens in small groups! I am patient and kind in the classroom.
