US Grade 4 - 8
For this course, the main objective is to informally assess which math concepts from the grade level the student just completed that student may need more time guided practice with to achieve mastery, and then work together to close those learning gaps. As time allows, I will also start to introduce the students to math concepts that will be taught in the student's next grade level. This course is individualized so that students feel comfortable asking questions and we can go at the pace of the student. If the student is participating a summer math program, they are more than welcome to bring any assignments that they may want assistance with to the sessions, and we can work through it together. This class is scheduled by request only. If you are interested in enrolling for this class, please contact me with your preferred days, times, and time zone. I will then send you a private link for some times I have available within your request for enrollment.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I have been teaching in the public school setting for the past fifteen years, and tutoring privately for the past six years. I have worked with students ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade in math, reading, writing mechanics, American History, and beginning Spanish. I especially enjoy working with students in small groups or individually, and have recently developed skills as an online educator due to school closures. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy watching television and movies, and traveling with my family.
