In this 4-week enrichment class, incoming 4th graders can review 3rd grade math standards. This class is great for helping bridge the gap between 3rd and 4th grade, preventing summer regression, and building confidence!

The goal of this class is to help students review and practice 3rd grade math skills in order to feel confident and prepared for 4th grade math. Skills are broken down by week, so one skill will be covered in a variety of ways during a single class before moving on to a new skill the following week. Certified K-8 teacher with experience teaching math in 3rd-5th grades, small group math interventions for 3-5th grades, math curriculum committee member, and district "Math Champion".

Grading
Frequency: 1 after class completionDetails: At the end of the class, you will receive feedback on your students proficiency level for each skill. This will include suggested strategies to help them practice skills at home or new skills they may be ready to try based on their performance.
Learners should be proficient in 2nd grade math concepts including basic addition and subtraction. A minimal introduction to multiplication is preferred but not required.
White board and dry-erase marker (not required but highly suggested) OR any note-taking tool (paper, pencil, notebook, iPad app, etc.)
