Summer Math Camp: Third Grade Fun

4 live meetings
2 hrs 40 mins in-class hours per weekHomework
1 hour per week. Students will be given materials then can print and use at home for additional practice with the weekly math concept.Class Experience
US Grade 3
Each week in this class we will learn a new third grade math concept. Then we will complete a printable math worksheet together, and finally play a game to practice the skill. This class will go through and teach many of the Third Grade standards. There will be lots of fun printables to practice with after class! Week 7: July 29-Aug 1 Class 25: Use Symbols to Compare Fractions Class 26: Measure Length and Plot Data on Line Plots Class 27: Time Class 28: Liquid Volume Week 8: Aug 5-9 Class 29: Mass Class 30: Understand Categories of Shapes Class 31: Classify Quadrilaterals Class 32: Area & Perimeter This is the last week of the camp. Please join me for one of my sections of Third Grade Math Fun! or if your learner is ready for the next level sign up for my Fourth Grade Math Fun! Parents should be nearby to help with any technology issues but do not necessarily need to sit with their child. As always, parents are welcome to sit off camera with their learner if they wish or their child needs additional support. Students who attend this class should have completed 2nd grade and are ready for more complex math. This camp is also appropriate for students who have completed 3rd grade but need a review of 3rd grade concepts before they start 4th grade .

I am a licensed special education teacher with experience teaching students with ADHD, ASD, and many other learning needs.
Parental Guidance
For some classes there will be things that need cut. This will always be noted in posting of the materials. During those classes you will either need to supervise your learner while they use their scissors or precut the materials before class.
Pre-Requisites
Students should have completed 2nd grade and are ready for more complex math. This camp is also appropriate for students who have completed 3rd grade but need a review of 3rd grade concepts before they start 4th grade .
