Welcome to part 2 of our multiplication strategy class. Please note that your that This is NOT A BEGINNERS CLASS. This class is to learn tips and tricks to remember their multiplication from 13-20. If you’re looking for a fun, interactive, but still educational class for your child then this is it. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CLASS HAS WRITTEN STRATEGIES THAT YOUR CHILD WILL BE TAUGHT. STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO BRING ALL FILES WITH THEM & WRITE THE NOTES DURING CLASS FOLLOWED BY A FUN GAME OF BLOOKET THAT STUDENTS ABSOLUTELY LOVE STUDENTS WILL NEED FOR CLASS: -DIFFERENT COLOR OF PENS/PENCILS -PDF NOTES THAT I HAVE CREATED TO ENSURE STUDENTS DON'T WRITE TOO MUCH ALONG WITH OTHER NEEDED PDFS (TOTAL OF 15 PAGES FOR THE ENTIRE CAMP) CLASS LAYOUT: -15 minutes: Write tips and tricks on the PDF THAT I HAVE CREATED TO ENSURE STUDENTS DON'T WRITE TOO MUCH -15 minutes: Students will be going over a fun game of Blooket after each fact for a small brain break Day 1: Times table from 13-14 followed by a Blooket review game if time permits Day 2: Times table from 15-16 followed by a Blooket review game if time permits Day 3: Times Table from 17-18 followed by a Blooket review game if time permits Day 4: Times Table from 19-20 followed by a Blooket review game if time permitsp Students will be taught up to the x10 number on each multiplication and then will be given a tip to solve for the last 2 numbers. Parental Guidance
Students will need to bring all PDF files to class to ensure that they keep up with the pace of the class. There are about 9 pages for the entire class.
Students will also play a fun game of Blooket after the Multiplication tricks to reinforce and practice their multiplication
It is extremely helpful if students have a separate device, ONE FOR BLOOKET AND ONE FOR ZOOM
Supply List
Learners will need paper and pencil to write down all the tips and tricks that will be given to them and a separate device if possible to play Blooket! PLEASE PRINT OUT THE WORKSHEETS AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS AS THE STRATEGIES ARE A BIT LENGHTY AND WILL BE EXTREMELY HELPFUL IF THEY HAVE THE NOTES. IF STUDENTS FALL BEHIND ON WRITING DUE TO NOT HAVING THE NOTES A COPY OF THE NOTES WILL BE AVAILABLE AFTER CLASS TO ENSURE THEY WRITE THEM DOWN
