Summer Math Camp: First Grade Fun
In this ongoing first grade math camp, we will meet 4x a week to learn a new math concept, practice, and play a math game together. We will review the full curriculum for first grade math if you attend each of the 6 weeks.
What's included

2 hrs 40 mins in-class hours per weekHomework
1 hour per week. Students will be given materials then can print and use at home for additional practice with the each math concept.Class Experience
US Grade 1
Each day in this class we will learn a new first grade math concept. Then we will complete a printable math worksheet together, and finally play a game to practice the skill. If you attend each of the 6 weeks (in any order) you will review all the First Grade Math Standards. There will be lots of fun printables to practice with after class! Schedule Week 1: June 2 - 5 Class 1: Count on to Add Class 2: Doubles Facts Class 3: Near Doubles Class 4: Add in Any Order Week 2: June 9-12 Class 5: Understand Missing Addends Class 6: Number Partners for 10 Class 7: Count on to Subtract Class 8: Understand True and False Equations Week 3: June 16 - 19 Class 9: Understand Teen Numbers Class 10: Make a 10 to Add Class 11: Add 3 Numbers Class 12: Make a Ten to Subtract June 23 - 26 NO CAMP Week 4: June 20 - July 3 Class 13: Find the Unknown Number Class 14: Add and Subtract in Word Problems Class 15: Collect and Compare Data Class 16: Understand Tens Week 5: TUESDAY, July 8 - FRIDAY, July 11 Class 17: Counting to 120 Class 18: Understand Tens and Ones Class 19: Compare Numbers Class 20: Tell Time Week 6: July 14 - July 17 Class 21: Money Class 22: Add and Subtract 10s Class 23: Add Tens to Any Number Class 24: Add Two-Digit and One-Digit Numbers Week 7: July 21 - 25 Class 25: Add Two-Digit Numbers Class 26: Compare and Order Lengths Class 27: Shapes/Putting Shapes together Class 28: Breaking Shapes into Equal Parts Parents should be nearby to help with any technology issues but do not necessarily need to sit with their child. As always, parents are welcome to sit off camera with their learner if they wish or their child needs additional support. Students who attend this class should either be currently enrolled in first grade OR currently in Kindergarten and being successful with kindergarten curriculum and are ready for more complex math. This class is also appropriate for students who have completed first grade math already but are struggling with math concepts.

I am a licensed special education teacher with experience teaching students with ADHD, ASD, and many other learning needs.
Parental Guidance
For some classes there will be things that need cut. This will always be noted in posting of the materials. During those classes you will either need to supervise your learner while they use their scissors or precut the materials before class.
Pre-Requisites
Students should have completed Kindergarten and are ready for more complex math. This clamp is also appropriate for students who have completed 1st grade but need a review of 1st grade concepts before they start 2nd grade .
