Class experience
US Grade 3 - 5
This interactive math class will teach students fundamental skills in math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions. Each class will target a different skill to help develop basic math concepts and understanding. We will review one to two math topics per class with the topics being taught through verbal and visual instruction using the zoom whiteboard platform as well as incorporating various math competition games such as kahoot. The objective for this course is for students to have an understanding of basic math skills and be able to demonstrate proper technique in core math concepts such as addition, subtractions, multiplication, division, and fractions.
I am a certified elementary teacher and I work with students to help develop the skills they need to pass their elementary math state examinations.
Homework Offered
Students will be assigned a couple of math questions related to whatever concept/ skill was reviewed (example: If we went over 3 digit multiplication, they would be assigned multiple 3 digit multiplication questions to help reinforce what was learned in the class).0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
