Class Experience

Building confidence is key to any foreign language, and that is what I will be doing through this class.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In this summer camp, we will focus on learning/reviewing some conversational skills that will allow students to have mini-conversations and learn at least 5 songs. The song list is below with some being kid's songs and others representing Christmas in July.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Day 1: We will learn Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes as well as B-I-N-G-O in Italian
Day 2: We will learn Italy's version of Old MacDonald in Italian (Nella Vecchia Fattoria)
Day 3: We will review (If time permits, we will learn Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in Italian)

Day 4: We will learn O Christmas tree in Italian
Day 5: We will learn Jingle Bells in Italian
Day 6: Review

----------------------------------------------------
*Each time, we will review some from the last lesson.
*Homework is to practice the songs.
*Students will be given a PDF and/or link to review the song.

*Schedule is subject to change.
-----------------------------------------------------

*Also you can request a new time if you need a different time slot.
Learning Goals
The goal of this class is to help students get excited and feel confident in learning Italian through learning small dialogues and songs. Plus, learning in the form of conversation and songs can make learning a language a bit more fun.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree from North Carolina State University
I learned up through Intermediate Italian at North Carolina State University where I graduated in 2020. I believe that taking foreign language classes opens the doors to many opportunities. I now give students the opportunity to learn a language that they are interested in and make learning fun. I have taught Italian classes for ages 4 through 15 on Outschool since January 2019.
