This class will cover the first half of a semester at an intensive pace, during the summer. It is specifically designed for an older cohort of students, especially those who may struggle with math.

This part 1, of a 2-part, summer intensive math class, is ideal for older students who struggle with math, but would like to learn amongst their peers. The learners will be introduced to a topic during the class session and then have follow-up activities to do during the week. I have a dual degree in Spanish and Economics, and have been tutoring, teaching, and working with young children for over twenty years. I have helped many students improve their basic skills, and this has become my focus - helping children attain mastery in reading and math. I also am Orton Gillingham trained, which focuses on multisensory learning to facilitate content mastery for students who struggle, whether due to dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, or other neurodivergencies.
