In this course, students will be introduced to common topics covered in high school chemistry. Topics included are: states and changes of matter, atomic structure, Bohr model, electron configuration, periodic table.

In this course, students will be introduced to foundational topics taught in any standard first year high school chemistry course. Completing this course will make the chemistry class easier during the academic year. Students will learn about matter, classification of matter, and the changes matter undergoes. Students will gain deep understanding of the structure of the atom, including the electronic structure, and will gain various insights about elements on the periodic table based on...

Homework Offered
There will be homework given almost everyday in this course. Students need to keep up with the assignments to get the full benefit of the course.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
