This course is designed to help students who are going to take Algebra I in the Fall or Spring. It's also a great class for students who have recently taken a middle school math or Pre Algebra course that is looking to review key concepts. In this summer session, we will review essential mathematical relationships that will set students up for success in Algebra I. I strongly recommend that students create a notebook specifically for this course that they can take with them and use as a reference in their next class.

External Resources
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Teacher expertise and credentials
3 Degrees
Master's Degree in Education from Northern Arizona University
Bachelor's Degree in Education from Arizona State University
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Arizona State University
I teach high school level math classes from Algebra I through Calculus and including Statistics, Trigonometry, and Geometry. I taught high school for 9 years and I now write online curriculum while teaching night classes at my local community college. I believe good instruction builds off of what students already know and think and should be personalized to student needs.
