Properties of Exponents
Applying the product, quotient, and power rule. Understanding negative exponents and the zero exponent.
Lesson 6
Distributive Property
Review how to combine like terms and distribute expression across grouping symbols.
 Week 4
Lesson 7
Solving Equations
Solving equations with one-step, two-step, variables on both sides, grouping, and distributive property.
Lesson 8
Solving Word Problems
Writing mathematical expressions to represent real-life quantities. Writing and solving equations to solve real-world problems.

Lesson 9
Slope and Linear Models
Finding the slope of proportional models. Identifying slope from real-world contexts. Writing the slope-intercept form of an equation from graphs and tables.
Lesson 10
Graphing Functions
Graphing linear equations in slope-intercept form. Graphing linear equations in standard form using intercepts.
