In this one time class, students will color by number fun summer pictures.

Students will practice recognizing colors and numbers. They will have 2 fun worksheets to color with. I will say each number and the students will show me where the number is located on the picture. Then I will have them identify the color, example 1-red. They will show me the color and then they will color the appropriate sections. I will color the pictures with them and support them along the way. I will check in during each color and number to make sure that they are coloring the right section. In the end, they will have a colorful picture completed. In the past, some students have finished either 1 or both pictures. If they only finish one, then they can finish the other picture for extra practice after class!

I will have 2 worksheets for the parent to print out. They are attached. Print out page 5 (ice cream) and page 6 (shells).

Hi! My name is Tanisha and I'm from Southern California. I've been working in the schools on/off since 2006. Three years as an instructional assistant for middle school students, one year as an aide for kindergarten, four years as a substitute teacher for middle school students and brief experience in after school programs. I have also been an ESL teacher for children in China since December of 2017. I also, since 2006, have done massage therapy.
I have an Associate’s and Bachelor’s Degree in General Education and I’m working on my Master’s Degree in Teaching and Learning. I will be teaching classes about Kindergarten (counting, colors and shapes), journal prompts for middle school kids (I've had a journal since I was 12!) and a nouns, verbs and adjectives class.
