Class experience
Flash fiction is a style of short story writing in which the completed work contains 1,500 words or fewer. Telling a story in this micro-form is a great way to whittle a narrative down to its core and to gain practice urging the 'unsaid' in the story to emerge. It provides wonderful practice to students who enjoy writing and want to dive into something fun and challenging.
