Description
Class Experience
This course will be taught in a workshop style with a lot of opportunities for students to interact with the teacher and the class material as and when they feel comfortable to do so. The camp will help students understand the different aspects of filmmaking from idea generation to finished film. I will be using a lot of age appropriate visual material for the students to reference and feel inspired by. We will start the class with brainstorming different ideas. The next step will be...
Students will learn 1. Idea Generation 2. Basics of Scriptwriting 3. Storyboarding 4. Camera Angles 5. Sound / Dialogue 6. Basic of Video Editing
Students might need about an extra hour after class to finish some of the exercises given in class.
Students will need the following 1. Paper and Pen/Pencil to take notes and draw storyboard 2. Any kind of phone or iPad to film their movies on. 3. iMovie app (ti is a free app)
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
5 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
