Unlock your imagination and embark on a thrilling writing adventure in this Teen Fantasy Creative Writing Class! This engaging eight-week program is designed for aspiring young writers who want to craft their very own novella—a captivating 50,000 word story. What You'll Learn: - Explore key elements of the 'Hero's Journey' in each session, helping you to create compelling characters and plotlines. - Discover valuable writing tips tailored to turning your ideas into a completed novella. - Enjoy lessons involving different 'sub-genres of fantasy' each week, from epic quests to urban fantasy. Class Structure: - Each meeting will include interactive lessons, discussions, and writing exercises. - Enjoy a dedicated '25-minute writing session' during each class to put your new skills into practice. - Students are encouraged to write for '25 minutes daily' outside of class to build their novellas effectively over the eight weeks. Additional Support: - Share your work on our classroom page to receive constructive feedback from your peers. - For personalized guidance, feel free to send your writing to my message box for editing assistance.
