Week 1Lesson 1Numbers 1-10Week 1: We will introduce numbers 1-10 by working on showing them in print, counting, 1-1 correspondence and matching numbers to their quantities.Week 2Lesson 2ShapesWeek 2: we will review numbers 1-10 and work on greater and less than concepts. We will also work on shapes.Week 3Lesson 3PattensWeek 4: We will work on simple patterns as well as reviewing our previous topics.Week 4Lesson 4Teen NumbersWeek 3: We will work on 1-1 correspondence when counting and introduce teen numbers in print and quantities.Week 5Lesson 5Review WeekWeek 5: We will finish up with teen numbers and review shapes, greater than and less than and do a simple graphing activity.
Students will improve their understanding of numbers, counting, patterns and shapes during this 5 week class.
Hello! I am a certified teacher in grades preschool- elementary. I have many years of experience teaching in preschool, PreK and elementary classrooms and I am a passionate about early childhood education.
It would be great to have learners have access to paper, pencil and a set of counting manipulatives ( like small toys, Pom poms, beads, stones or counters).
