Students will learn about all things summer from the beach to Ice Cream. Class will be taught through  games, crafts, and books.

Day 1 Beach Ball
Introduction

Discussion 
- What  is a beach ball?
- What colors are on a beach ball?
-How do you use a beach ball?

Game Time
-Name the color (beach ball)
-Beach Ball Movement Game

Story Time
-Pete the Cat Pete at the Beach by  James Dean

Craft  Time
Create your own beach ball

Conclusion
Colors scavenger Hunt 

Day 2 Ice Cream 

Introduction
-Student socialization

Discussion 
-What is ice Cream?
-What  are the ingredients in Ice Cream?
-What is your favorite flavor?

Game Time
-Stack the Ice Cream 
-Name the Flavor Ice Cream

Story Time
-Splat the Cat: I Scream for Ice Cream by Rob Scotton

Craft Time
-Ice Cream Puffy Paint
-Draw Ice Cream

Day 3 Watermelon

Introduction 
-Student Socialization 

Game Time
-How many seeds are in a watermelon? 
-Guess the shapes in the watermelon 

Watermelon Dance Party
- Lets play free dance watermelon Style

Creative Time
-Roll and flatten play dough into a watermelon 

Craft Time
-Make a Paper plate watermelon

Parental Guidance
Day 2 Ice cream puffy paint can be made ahead time. Just mix glue, shaving cream, and food coloring together.
Supply List
Materials will be send in welcome email and posted in the classroom.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

My name is Karina. My academic career started at University of Arizona earring a Bachelors of Science in Family and Human Development with a minor in Early Childhood Education. I have an interest in teaching preschool numbers, letters and science. I love teaching children preschool age and early elementary age children. I feel it is important to give children an academic foundation and then to expand upon it, fostering a love for learning. My hoodies are baking and crafting.
