Class Experience
Items you would need for each day : DAY 1 - The three billy goat 2 A4 size paper Bundles of Books (to create 2 equal sides of the river banks) Lot of coins or miniature animals Scotch tape Safety scissors DAY 2 - .Rapunzel 6 Toilet paper rolls Tape – prefer masking tape Safety scissors Small doll DAY 3 - The Three little pigs Marshmallows – 10 Skewers- 15 Elastic bands/ rubber bands. Paper straws or paper strips. Legos Scotch tape DAY 4 - Gingerbread Kitchen Sponge (thick one) Tub of water for final testing Half an orange peel intact and not in pieces 2 to 4 bottle corks Popsicle sticks at least 10 1 Straw Scotch Tape and Masking tape 1 piece of coloured paper Safety scissors Glue (not glue stick) DAY 5 - Hansel and Gretel Assorted candies , not the hard ones but soft chewy ones like caramel candies work better. Cookies and Gummy bears Crackers or Grahams or Gingerbread cookies Marshmallows and marshmallow fluff Flat tray Skewers – 4 Melted thick chocolate 1 cup or in a piping bag Cleaning cloth
4 hours 10 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Some projects might need use of safety scissors and parental guidance is appreciated during those times.
