Do you know every state, it's corresponding capital, and where it's located? Memorizing this information can seem daunting and maybe even boring. This class will change that! Join me for a Summer Camp course to help your child memorize this information and have fun in the process! This class is perfect for visual and hands-on learners; however, all learners will benefit. A black line map will be posted in the classroom for each student to print before class. The student will also need sharpened colored pencils to draw our pictures on the map. Don't worry! This is not an art class, and the simple drawings are only meant to be an aid in memory. Join me for this fun class and be impressed with how quickly your student learns all of this information!
Learning Goals
The student will learn the capital for each state along with where the state is located on a map. Time will also be spent in fun review.

Supply List
A black line map of the U.S. will be posted in the classroom. Please make sure to download and print a copy for your student before class. Each student will also need to bring a set of sharpened colored pencils to class.

Hi! I'm a mom of 4 awesome kids, whom I've also had the privilege to homeschool for the last 14 years. I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Speech. For the last 20 years, I have been involved in education in some form. I worked with a distance learning company, privately tutored, and taught in a classroom before beginning the homeschool journey. As a homeschool mom, and in addition to teaching my own children, I taught various subjects in local co-ops. My favorite topic to teach quickly became English Grammar!
