This is a fun football (soccer) class for young children taken by me! Coach James! The classes are all about going on various adventures in a style of story time soccer. Class & Destination Skill of The Day Life Lesson 1 Stade De France Chop Belief 2 Delhi Pull Back/ Turn Empathy 3 The Ganges Pull Back/ Turn Empathy 4 Rome Roll over Fearless 5 Venice Roll over Fearless At the beginning of class, we will have a little fun introduction, and then go on our exciting adventures. There will be a little water break in the middle if required. There will also be a good chance for good bye high fives at the end 😊 With the young children, it is very much a follow my leader type style, it will be very fun, active, and enthusiastic session! The teaching philosophy is based around positive reinforcement for the desired behaviour. The coach will give direct individual feedback on the student’s skills throughout the class,…..oh! and, don’t forget a soccer ball!
Learning Goals
In all of my story time soccer classes there will be a consistent foundation of skills that they will practise such as stop ball, tick tocs (inside foot to inside foot), tippy toes (touch your toes on the ball with alternate feet), rock the ball (rock the ball from heel to toe and Switch feet.), little kicks, jumps and big kicks!
We will learn how to say hello in France, Italy and India
In each lesson there is also a life lesson taught, so as to try and develop their character and personality
There will be a super soccer skill in each lesson!

Other Details
Parental Guidance
The class involves a football being kicked around in the space that you use, so please make sure that there are no 'breakable' or 'fragile' objects in the room. If you are using a harder soccer ball you may consider using more robust trainers.
Can parents please provide a water bottle, so we can have a quick drink break
Parents help may be needed, to sometimes be able to physically hold the child to help them perform the skills, while they learn some techniques
It would be helpful if Coach James could see the whole student over the video feed, so feedback can be given.

Hello Everyone!
I teach story time soccer with 3-6 year olds! We go on adventures around the world and with there favourite superhero's. They learn one specific skill per class and also a life lesson (eg confidence)
I am a qualified PE teacher and have a Masters in sport coaching, a Bacherlors degree in sport, and I am an qualified coach, certified by the English Football Association.
I have a very enthusiastic and fun approach to learn in my classes. The children will learn through positive reinforcement, the students will learn from a teacher who uses tools and is a good role model, by replicating there techniques on a consistent basis.
