In this one time, summer class, students will learn what AP US History is about, how to approach the class, how to keep up in the class, and how to prepare for the AP exam in May throughout the year.

  • Students will understand the ins and outs of AP US History and how to be prepared for it when classes start in the fall.
I am a certified secondary English teacher with a BA and MA in English. I have tutored AP Human Geography, AP World History, AP US History, AP Government/Econ., AP Language, and AP Literature for over 11 years. I have also tutored ACT English and ACT Reading for several years. The materials that we use is content that I have gathered and used with all my face-to-face students.
Students should be registered for AP US History in the Fall.
A guided notes pdf will be sent to learners to printed off for the session.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
We will use the official College Board AP US History course description and reference materials to provide a solid understanding of expectations and strategies for success in the class.
