In this informative, presentation, introduction session with Q&A for AP Language, students will learn 1. How AP is different from other classes 2. How AP Language is structured 3. How to study for AP Language 4. What writing and thinking skills will be developed during the class 5. What study resources are available 6. How the test is structured. This class is part of the "So You're Taking AP ...... in the Fall" Series.
Students will understand the ins and outs of AP Language and how to be prepared for it when classes start in the fall.
I am a certified secondary English teach with a BA and MA in English with minors in History. I have tutored AP Human Geography, AP World History, AP US History, AP Government/Econ., AP Language, and AP Literature for over 11 years. I have also tutored ACT English and ACT Reading for several years. The materials that we use is content that I have gathered and used with all my face-to-face students.
Students should be enrolled in AP Language in the Fall.
