For the past 18 years, I have taught primary grades. I have a Master's Degree in Literacy of Brain Based Teaching. I have taken all the tools I have learned over the years in the brick and mortar classroom, and chosen what I know works best for children to learn to read. While the over arching goal is for children to learn to read, the best part of my job is watching children fall in love with reading.
Parental Guidance: Play dough Dry erase board and marker Printed worksheets (provided) with pencil or marker
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance: Please be aware play dough is required for this class. Your child should know the proper use of play dough and you are comfortable with your child using it.
