🌟MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR🌟 Dr. Elliott Heflin, Jr. holds a Doctoral Degree and Teacher Certification in Engineering/Technology. I have been teaching coding since the year of 2017 ( In-Person and Online. CREDENTIALS: ⭐️ Georgia certified Engineering/Technology Teacher ⭐️EdD. in Educational Leadership/Educational Technology ⭐️STEM summer camp owner ⭐️Two plus years brick and mortar Teacher (private) ⭐️Four year OutSchool Teacher 🎓TEACHING STYLE🎓 Dr. Elliott uses the hands on approach to learning, each student will construct program and run to see if it execute properly. 💻 As a certified Engineering/Technology educator, I will be teaching the students how to use Python coding language to create video games. I have been teaching Python the last 3 years in a private school environment. The prerequisite for this class is Introduction to Python coding. I will be using the method of lectures and demonstrating how to format the syntax within the (IDLE) Integrated Development and EACH GAME TAKES TWO CLASSES TO COMPLETE. Learning Environment. Learning Goals
We will master Python's ILDE library to create 2D games, learning about sprites, collision detection, and game loops. Become proficient with object-oriented programming to manage game objects and states effectively.
