In this class, learners will learn basic techniques in watercolor. I will guide students step by step in a variety of subject matter including landscapes, illustrations, painting from life, and abstract painting.

Class Experience
week 1: Basics of Watercolor painting; we will try out your WC set with color theory and simple exercises to learn about WC practice. You will learn how to set up your paper, brushes and paint, and the first steps to understanding color theory. week 2: Landscapes 1: Step by step instruction to complete a 1 hour landscape, which I will paint with you. week 3: illustration 1: Cute Fox in the Forest; step by step instruction to complete a 1 hour illustration, which I will paint with you week...
This class is taught in English.

students should expect to practice the concepts learned each week for at least 1 hour outside of class time.
Archival Water Color paper block (9x12) 1 large round brush (2-3 in) 1 medium round brush (.5 - 1 in) 1 small brush (.25-1 in) 1 watercolor set 1 bottle of sumi ink 1 bottle of masking fluid 1 roll of masking tape (.5 in-1 in) 1 cup for water
learners will be assessed with a written report at the end of week 4, and at the end of week 8
1 hour 10 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
