Join me 3 times a week to practice math, phonics, & early reading skills in a fun & welcoming way :) . Plus, to promote individual confidence, we'll have Show & Tell on day 3!

Class experience

Learners will practice skills that will help them feel confident and be successful in transitioning from Kindergarten to First grade. They will practice various math, and phonics skills. In depth descriptions of each skill are listed in the 'course description'.
*Printer : Weekly attachments will be posted to the classroom and will need to be printed.
*Pencil: learners will need a pencil for each class meeting.
*Markers/Crayons: learners will need access to markers/crayons for each class.
*Glue-stick: sometimes, learners will need glue (you will be notified when it is needed)
*Scissors: some attachments will need to be cut *prior to class (you will be notified of what needs to be cut)
*Any additional materials will be communicated to enrolled learners' parents prior to class for the week
*Show and Tell item: we will have a time for 'Show & Tell' on day 3 each week. Help your little learner get excited for class by picking something to share during show and tell-- such as a toy, something they've made, something from nature, or something they know that they want to share. This time helps to build community, social skills (listening and speaking) and confidence :) .
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
