As rule #1 of Ultra Learning tells us, “There is no need to fill water in a basket”, I highly, highly recommend students to allocate at least 30 MINS EACH DAY EVERY WEEK on self-paced learning on my Chinestory Quizlet classroom, which is designed for this flipped classroom experience. The following learning goals can be achieved given the leaner effort put forward as mentioned above. 1. Learn (speak, read, write, read, and original meaning ) 83 single pictograms. Through hand illustrations, real world objects represented in the scripts are restored, so that learners can see abstract symbols through tangible objects. 2. Intuitively understand the meaning of radical and its role as a LEGO piece in building complex characters. On the basis of reading singles and radicals, naturally master the life-long ability to unlock new characters. 3. Let out your creative juice by making illustrations for Chinese characters, riding on your wings of imagination and creative passion. Recognize keywords in daily conversations and give proper response. 4. Skilled in using 23 K-level sight words, including: listening, speaking, reading, writing, and interpretation of meaning based on word origin 5. Unlock the first part of the Top 48 high frequency characters 6. Based on the stories of 17 character families, ranging from body parts, nature, animals to agriculture and war, develop an understanding of human civilization from the perfective of natural language development. This not only reinforces your memorization, but also broaden the scope of your knowledge, and cultivates in you a love for exploration of culture and society.

Parents need to help your child set up Quizlet account BEFORE the camp starts. You also need to help them set up the computer such that it can access the Zoom classroom and the Quizlet study sets at the same time. You can do so either on one computer or using an additional smart device such as pad or phone that has the Quizlet app downloaded.
