Summer Camp for Preschoolers & Kinders!

Some of the skills that will be taught and reviewed in this  class include: letter identification, letter sounds, colors, shapes, numeral identification, counting, calendar skills, rhyming, early literacy skills! Students will also enjoy learning about various themes! 

I have 11+ years of preschool and kindergarten experience. I taught preschool, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten in the public school system for four years. I then opened my own learning center/preschool out of my home and have been teaching preschoolers for the last seven years! I love teaching early learning concepts and making it fun, enjoyable and developmentally appropriate. I am also a homeschool mom to 3 children: 7, 5 and 3 years old. I have a Master's degree in Teaching and a teaching certificate. I can offer a kind of teaching style that works well with children who have been in a more traditional school setting like Mother's Day Out or public school. But as a homeschool parent, I can also appeal to children who are used to being home for their schooling. I can't wait to meet your child and your family! 

Students should prepare a show and tell item for each class meeting. Details will be included in the weekly outline that will be uploaded for enrolled families.

No formal assessment is given. 

1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

Weekly outline, daily show & tell assignments and support documents and print-outs will be uploaded a week in advance so that all items can be prepared for class.
