Summer Camp - Financial Literacy - Money Basics -Investments Savings Summer Camp

Learn about financial literacy basics, how to save, budget and manage credit and debt.  We will also learn more about investing and different, basic ways to grow savings.

Go through a series of activities to understand basic finances
Learn about different ways to manage savings, income and debt 
Get a grasp on managing money for its benefit
Participate in many engaging activities, sometimes using interactive platforms

I work for a large corporation doing Business Development and have ran a nanny agency and au-pair recruiter for many years.  I have a background in education and art.  Presently, I am nearing the completion of my degree in Forensic Accounting with Cyber Security.  I am also a certified tax professional.

My class starts with an overview of the required supplies and the learning focus or lesson.  The rest of the class will focus on our project or activity while being social and sharing our progress.  There will be opportunity among the participants to ask questions and engage with the teacher and other students while creating their project.  There will be structure to the class but there will be plenty of opportunity to be social and engage with one another while learning more about fish.

My teaching style encourages the learners to share, talk with each other and to ask more questions.  Education and creativity are the focus of my classes but I also love to encourage the learners to be independent creatives, to be social and interactive with each other virtually.  However, I also respect any learner that does not want to share or be social!  Everyone is at their own pace and creates their own art inspired by the lesson.

All class times are approximate. Class length varies based on student ability and number of enrolled learners.

All courses will begin on time as long as one learner is in the classroom. In the event that no students are in the classroom at the assigned class time, the teacher will leave a message on the discussion board and exit after 10 minutes. 

Per Outschool policy, there are no refunds or credits for missed classes. As an ongoing class, the subscription holds your spot and prevents another learner from taking it. If you need to miss a class, please withdraw so that another learner can fill the slot if they wish. Recordings are posted as soon as they are available for absent students.

This timing is necessary in order to fill the spot you are vacating.
