Week 1: Introduction to Sight Words

Day 1:

Introduction to sight words: what they are and why they are important

Practice reading simple sentences containing sight words

Day 3:

Week 2: Exploring Digraphs

Day 1:

Introduction to digraphs (sh, ch, th, wh)
Sound out and identify words with digraphs

Day 2:

Day 3:

Review digraph sounds
Read short stories with digraphs

Week 3: Long Vowel Sounds

Day 1:
