Class experience
In this fast-paced STEM / STEAM design and building engineering challenge students will work as a team to design and create either portion of, or a complete Mars colony. Learners also agree to complete their portion of the design and do their best to contribute as a team. This class is taught in English.
Students will work as a team on a high level engineering project to create all or a portion of a Mars scientific research lab from start to finish. As a team the learners will decide which level of the challenge to complete and will use teamwork to complete the challenge in the alloted time.
Mrs. Fimbel has been teaching TinkerCAD 3D design for several years including one year on Outschool. Additionally Mrs. Fimbel presented about using TinkerCAD in interdisciplinary projects at the Texas Computer Educators Association Convention in 2019.
