Class Experience

Summer travel plans?  Outside at the pool all day and need classes that fit a tight schedule?  My tropical island FLEX class is perfect for your learner!

Come along to a tropical island with me this summer!  This is a summer camp creative writing class where students will design and describe their very own tropical island treehouses!  We will begin by creating a template and filling in information about our own treehouses.  We will choose adjectives, do a mini-bio of the house, and decide...

We work on creating stronger sentences with captivating vocabulary and with proper capitalization, punctuation, spelling, and grammar. Creativity in writing is also encouraged!

I worked as a librarian at a Waldorf school for six years working closely with grades 1-12 before transitioning to my teaching on Outschool. I teach Waldorf students and other students (including ESL) around the world now as a private reading and writing teacher.  I have also taken private courses in archetypes and studied the work of Carl Jung as a B.S. Psychology student.  I am also a published writer. I lived on a Navajo reservation for several summers. I also have Masters classes in Library Science, Human Services, as well as diversity training. I ran a middle and high school library at the Waldorf school where I taught creative writing, library, and research classes for six years.
