Students will become familiar with poetry - its elements and its form. Each class will begin with a short YouTube video, followed up by discussion, then time to write and finally time to share. Students will learn about different styles of poetry. Students will practice reading and writing skills. Students will create a poem to share with the class.
Homework Offered
Students can polish the poems off and send them for feedback if they desire but it is not a requirement.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
