Description

Class Experience

Students will learn more about camping and constellations.
I have 14 years experience teaching children in the classroom. I also have 3 young children of my own that I enjoy doing crafts and camping activities with!
*Our camping poem will be sent to children prior to class and printing is optional.* *Tent or fort and flashlight are optional, but make the experience more like camping.* Class 1-marshmallows (mini marshmallows work best, but you can use any size), toothpicks Class 2-marshmallows, toothpicks, ingredients for s'mores treat (graham cracker, chocolate bar, marshmallows) Class 3-mini marshmallows, toothpicks, napkin/Kleenex, little figurine or Lego person Class 4-mini marshmallows, toothpicks, napkin or Kleenex, little figurine or Lego person, ***(Students will use another device to play Bingo on. Students will be sent a link prior to class with their own unique Bingo card. It works best if you can print this and bring it to class.)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
If your child decides to join from inside a tent or fort, it would be helpful to still have enough lighting to see your child's face during class. Parent support (off-camera) may be needed when making constellations or treats or playing Bingo. (as needed)
