Class Experience

Students will practice reading comprehension, and be introduced to a book club-type discussion. Students will learn to pick out meaningful parts of a text, as well as identify main characters and themes. They will practice generating questions and active listening.
I hold a Master's of Education and am a certified teacher with over ten years experience in education. I am certified in K-6 elementary education, 7-12 social studies education, 7-12 language arts education, and K-12 Reading education. 
Students will need to read the book before the first meeting. The students can read this independently, or they can listen to it be read aloud.
 1 file available upon enrollment
Learners should have access to the first Diary of a Wimpy Kid book. Any handouts will be provided.
2 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
