Summer Camp at Bravo Rose Farm: Animal Care for Dogs, Cats and Horses

Students will learn the basics of caring for and grooming horses, dogs and cats,

I have owned horses for more than ten years and cats and dogs for more than twenty. I am a certified dog groomer having completed the NY BOCES dog grooming certification program. My husband and I own our own small scale dog grooming business out of our on-site grooming salon at our farm. I worked as a volunteer for many years with the League For Animal Protection in New York fostering and medicating sick kittens and nursing adult cats back to health. I also fostered dogs with a papillon-specific rescue group. Animal welfare and proper animal care is a big part of my life and a topic that is very important to me on a personal level.

There will be no required homework but supplementary learning materials will be provided for any learners who are interested after each day's lesson.

3 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
