Summer Break Fun - Can You Build It With LEGO?
Share your ideas and learn some great new ideas from others in this Spring Break social class as you bring your ideas to life!
In this interactive class students will be presented with a starter idea and will be encouraged to use their analytical skills as we take turns talking about our ideas and how we would design them. The ideas we will be looking at will include but not be limited to - houses, boats and cars. We may use pictures to get some ideas flowing, but each class will be different because the ideas are totally the creation of the students. We will complete each class by sharing ours builds, but only if...
One Goals is for students to build their confidence to be able to share their ideas with others. They are welcome to just build and listen until they are ready to share their thoughts while we build. Students will also improve their problem solving skills as they are encouraged to use their imagination to complete the mini tasks.
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
