Stop summer slide! Stay summer smart! For kids who just finished 3rd grade, this Common Core–aligned class will get learners back-to-school ready for 4th grade, with hundreds of fun activities, exercises, and games, by completing the Summer Brain Quest Workbook. Learn all summer long with this personalized, interactive quest! Begin with a map that guides you through a workbook jam-packed with activities based on reading, writing, addition, subtraction, telling time, earth science, geography, communities, and more, with fun illustrations throughout. Once you complete an activity, get your stickers and track your progress on the map! Loved by kids, teacher-approved, and parent-trusted, this Summer Brain Quest Workbook also includes bonus challenges and stickers, outside activities, a summer reading list, a Brain Quest mini deck, and more. Source: Workman Publishing We will cover one section per meeting. Learners and I will work together to complete each section. Each learner will need their own copy of the Summer Brain Quest Workbook for Adventurers Between 3rd and 4th grade. I am a very outgoing, interactive teacher. I will help each student learn, comprehend, and complete each section. I am great with both outgoing and shy learners. I recognize and use all learning styles. We will finish a section each class, so students will be required to complete any questions we don't complete in class for homework. We will review any problem areas at the beginning of the next class.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi! My name is Wade Hair and I'm the owner and artistic director of the Breakthrough Theatre Company.
Before opening the theater, I was a teacher with Orange County Public Schools for 13 years. I taught at Wheatley Elementary, Robinswood Middle School, and started the theater programs at Howard Middle School, Ocoee High School and Wekiva High School. While at Howard Middle School, I was named Teacher of the Year, and also served as the coordinator of the City of Orlando’s Afterschool All-Stars Program.
I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, with an added certification in Drama (6-12).
I have been performing/directing/producing for over 40 years, starting with the Orlando Boys Choir in 3rd grade.
I left teaching to open the Breakthrough Theatre, which is in its thirteenth season. I am the proud father of two wonderful children (both married), a proud grandfather of two, owner of a cats, and I love traveling (especially to NYC), reading, music, history, and theater.
