Homework Offered
Here are some optional homework assignments that students can work on to reinforce their learning for each week:

** 1 (Identifying Numbers to 10):**
- Homework 1: Practice writing numbers 1 to 10 in their workbook.
- Homework 2: Ask students to find and count objects at home, then match them with the appropriate numbers.

**2 (Patterns):**
- Homework 1: Create a simple pattern using objects at home (e.g., red-blue-red-blue) and draw it in their workbook.
- Homework 2: Find patterns in their environment (e.g., stripes on clothes) and draw or describe them in their pattern journal.

**3 (2D Shapes):**
- Homework 1: Go on a shape hunt around the house, identifying and naming 2D shapes they find (e.g., rectangular door, circular plate).
- Homework 2: Create a picture using only 2D shapes, such as a house made of rectangles and triangles.

* 4 (Counting with One-to-One Correspondence to 10):**
- Homework 1: Count everyday objects at home (e.g., toys, books, or fruits) and write the corresponding numbers in their workbook.
- Homework 2: Play a counting game with family members, taking turns to count objects accurately.

**5 (Counting Numbers):**

 2 (Patterns):
-Pattern Creation Assessment: Students create their own patterns and explain them verbally or in writing, demonstrating their understanding of the concept.
-Pattern Recognition Assessment: Provide a set of pattern sequences and ask students to identify the missing element in each sequence.

3 (2D Shapes):
-Shape Identification Assessment: Show students pictures or objects and ask them to identify and name the 2D shapes present.
-Shape Creation Assessment: Have students create their own pictures or designs using 2D shapes and explain their choices.

 4 (Counting with One-to-One Correspondence to 10):

 6 (3D Shapes):

-3D Shape Construction Assessment: Provide 3D shapes or materials for students to build structures or objects, showcasing their understanding of 3D shapes.

7 (Counting with One-to-One Correspondence to 20):
-Extended Counting Assessment: Ask students to count a larger set of objects (up to 20) with one-to-one correspondence.
-Number-Object Matching Assessment: Present numbers randomly up to 20 and ask students to match them with the appropriate quantity of objects.

 8 (Skip Counting):
-Skip Counting Assessment: Give students sequences to skip count by 5's and 10's, both forwards and backward.
-Skip Counting Application Assessment: Provide scenarios where skip counting is needed (e.g., counting by 10's to find the total number of fingers in a class), and ask students to apply their skip counting skills.

We will include a mix of formative and summative assessments throughout the weeks to continually monitor students' progress and adjust instruction as needed.
