Beginner Level
Welcome to our one time watercolor class for scientists , where we will learn how to draw and paint a jeweled jellyfish using oil pastel and a variety of watercolor techniques. This is a course that is perfect for beginning artists and specializes using step by step drawing and painting demonstrations to help blossoming artists perfect their skills. All artists are welcome to participate in this class, no matter their skill level. I will personally guide you each step of the way and will be eagerly waiting to answer your questions. The first half of class will begin with an ice breaker, we will then watch an educational YouTube video about the jellyfish and play an interactive trivia game to assess what we have learned. After game time, we will then draw and paint the jeweled jellyfish under the guidance of a certified art educator. Each student should leave this class with a stronger sense of confidence when using watercolor. A variety of all different types of learners are welcome and encouraged to participate.
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to draw a jellyfish using basic shapes and simple lines
Students will learn how to paint using watercolor and various watercolor techniques
Students will learn fun scientific facts about the jellyfish

Learning Needs
Those with anxiety have the option to turn off their cameras after attendance has been taken and use the chat box/reactions to participate. All directions are given in step by step format & the pace of the class is determined by the learner
Parental Guidance
We will be using YouTube via screen share to help expand our students' knowledge of the jellyfish. There will be no need to set up any accounts in order to participate in this course.

I specialize in integrating general curriculum subject matter such as art, English, science, social studies and history into my lesson plans to ensure the homeschool population gets ample opportunity to meet minimum state standards while learning how to draw and having fun.
