Express yourself and learn to paint a fabulous self-portrait inspired by Picasso! Students will build on their paintings each day in the camp. They will learn fun painting techniques and will explore how colours can express inner emotions.
Class experience
Paint a super cool self-portrait inspired by Picasso during this 2 day Summer Camp! No experience necessary! Students will work with acrylic on canvas to create their own masterpieces and will layer onto their paintings each day during the camp. They will learn skills like observing and drawing themselves, colour mixing, layering paint, and more! We will also talk about how colours can represent different emotions and can be a way to express your inner self, as well as learning some fun...
Supply List: -acrylic paint (a variety of colours including white, blue, red, yellow, green, brown, and black) -mixing palette -canvas or thick paper (approximately 9” x 12”) -medium-sized paintbrush and a small detail brush -water jar -tissues/rag/paper towel -pencil -eraser -scrap paper
