Paint a beautiful Impression Sunrise inspired by Monet! Students will build on their paintings each day in the art camp and will learn painting techniques such as colour mixing, layering, and painting brushstrokes like the Impressionists.

Class Experience
Paint this beautiful Impression Sunrise inspired by Claude Monet! No experience necessary! Students will work with acrylic on canvas to create their own masterpieces and will layer onto their paintings each day of the camp. They will learn skills like colour mixing, layering paint, sketching their sunrise and boats, painting brushstrokes like the Impressionists, and more! They will also learn some fun facts about the artist Monet and how this painting coined the term Impressionism. Ms....
This class is taught in English.
Supply List: -acrylic paint (a variety of colours including lots of white, blue, red or pink, yellow, and black) -mixing palette -canvas or thick paper (approximately 9” x 12”) -medium-sized paintbrush and a small detail brush -water jar -tissues/rag/paper towel -pencil -eraser -scrap paper
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
