This is a 5-week beginner's series course on detail portrait drawing in graphite pencil and the Class meets once every week. In this course, learners will learn how to sketch and draw a proportionate human facial feature with basic shapes. the course includes lectures at the beginning and later step-by-step real-time drawing demonstrations so learners can follow along with the instructor. Further, I will cover the basic concept and techniques of pencil shading. Learners will learn how to hold the pencil for consistent pencil strokes, the difference between darker and lighter values, and how light plays an important role in shading. Learners will be encouraged to discover diverse blending supplies to attain a variety of rendering effects. This course will start with an introduction to shading in pencil and then later each week learners will concentrate on drawing and shading a single facial feature with a proportion. Week 1 - Introduction to pencil shading - Draw and shade proportionate eyes Week 2 - Draw and shade proportionate mouth - Draw and shade proportionate nose Week 3 - Draw and shade proportionate Ears - Draw and shade hairs Week 4- Draw a realistic Female/Girl portrait sketch with an easy method - complete the female portrait sketch with shading Week 5 - Draw a realistic Male/Boy portrait sketch with a Loomis method - complete the Male/Boy portrait sketch with shading At the end of this course, with all the above lessons and consistent practice, the learner will able to gain the confidence to draw a variety of portraits. all taught techniques will enhance their drawing skills in the future. Each class will be highly interactive and learners will receive individual feedback and encouragement to complete their drawings.

The learner will able to gain the confidence to draw a variety of portraits. The learner will able to draw a human face with the right proportion. And will able to draw facial features such as eye, mouth, nose, and ears, etc

Supply List
1. Sketchbook/ Drawing papers (Extra paper for practice) 2. Pencils: HB /#2 for light drawing, Darker pencils preferably 2B, 4B 3. Eraser (kneaded / basic) 4. Ruler 5. blending stumps or Q tip or soft facial tissues (Kleenex) or paintbrush for blending

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
