This is a fun and engaging art class for beginning artists! We will follow step by step directions to create new drawings each week. Directions will be specifically for early learners. This class will be in a directed drawing format, meaning each child will follow the same directions while watching me perform the directions on my paper. After creating our drawings, we will have the opportunity to add details and color our pictures to give them our own unique qualities. Even though we will be following the same directions, all of our pictures will look differently, as they should! No person is the same and no artist is the same! After we complete our masterpieces, each child will have the opportunity to share them with the class and each child will have the option to tell each other their favorite parts of their friends artwork. This class provides a safe and encouraging environment where each child will feel included, accepted and talented! Children should bring a white piece of paper, a pencil and crayons.
