In this two-day multi-day summer camp, the students will learn about the artist Monet. During each day of the summer camp, the students will show a new painting by Monet. The students can tell the class what they like about his paintings. The students will be making a new art project in each class based on the painting shown in that class. I will be doing the art project with the students. At the end of the class, the students can show their art projects to the class. Monday:Sunflower: The students will be making a sunflower art project inspired by Monet. The students will be using oil pastels and watercolour paints. Tuesday: Waterlilies: The student will be making a waterlilies art project by using oil pastels and tissue paper.

Please supervise your student when they are doing their art projects by making sure you are not on the camera.

Monday: Sunflowers watercolour paints watercolour paper oil pastels cup of water paintbrushes Tuesday: Waterlilies oil pastels or chalk pastels paper pencil Kleenex for blending (for chalk pastels) construction paper (green and yellow) tissue paper (white and pink) glue stick markers
