Description

Class Experience

Students will be taught the basics of how animation works and then get an opportunity to experiment will different types of animation styles.  The class will be taught workshop style with many opportunities for students to interact as and when they feel comfortable to do so.  I will be screening a lot of age appropriate media to teach and inspire students to make their own animations.  We will learning flip book, play-doh, puppet/paper cut out and stop-motion animation. - Storytelling Techniques 
- Building Characters 
- Building backgrounds 
- Learning to animate using flip books and stop-motion

Students might have one hour worth of work after class on a few of the days.

Parents will have to get the stop-motion app which is free (with in app purchases).  We will only be using the free features for this app

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Sop Motion
