Ever wished you could take a long story and explain it perfectly in just a few sentences? In this class, you'll learn awesome techniques that make summarizing easy and fun! How the Class Works Together, we'll read an interesting short story and practice the Five Finger method for non-fiction and then we will read a non-fiction piece of writing and use a similar method. You'll get to create your own summary, and if you'd like, share it with the class! This is perfect practice for writing better essays and book reports. Yvonne, B.Mus McGill University, is an interdisciplinary artist with a wide range of interests. As a homeschooling mom of an ND learner, I've developed project based learning opportunities that combine curricular expectations with specific interests. Currently working towards a Masters in Distance Learning, writing skills are my jam. I really enjoy inspiring learners to effective writing. Learner Led project based learning is where we connect with learners and inspire them to continue in their learning journey.
