Students will learn how to play the game sudoku and grow their skillset. During each class meeting, a sudoku puzzle will be posted that comes from a Sudoku book. Students will strategize together to solve two puzzles in under 20 minutes. While solving the puzzle, the students will socialize and strategize to make new friends and bond over a common interest in this mind game. I will guide students to communicate and work with one another to solve the puzzle. Learners are not required to know what Sudoku is because I will also teach them how to solve the puzzle at the beginning of the class. I will provide learners with a sudoku puzzle to do independently each week. Learners can post a picture of their completed sudoku puzzle in the classroom. This class is meant to help children to interact with others and the teacher.
