How to set and achieve goals following the SMART goal model will be taught. After learning what the SMART goal acronym represents, the class will work as a group to analyze a sample goal, revising the goal to follow the SMART model. Students will be guided in setting their own SMART goal with teacher input. During a teacher led discussion students will identify obstacles they may encounter as they work to achieve their goals and identify strategies to overcome these obstacles. Goal setting...

I have been sharing my knowledge about Goal Setting for over 25 years to learners of all ages. This is a topic of great personal interest and is one I have studied throughout my career.
Prior to class please identify 2 goals you would like to achieve within the next 12 months.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will successfully complete this class by creating an individual SMART goal.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
