Description
Class Experience
In this multi-day class, learners will be introduced to 6 different subtraction strategies for subtraction with borrowing. This is the perfect class for learners who are intimidated by borrowing or bigger numbers in general. By the end of this course, learners will feel confident in their ability to add double digit numbers independently. This class will be taught in an "I do, we do, you do" fashion. Learners will be provided with worksheets to follow along during the "we do and you do"...
Students will improve their subtraction with regrouping skills.
Students will be given an additional worksheet at the end of class to practice their skills independently. This work will be optional, but can be turned in to the teacher for feedback.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
